Presentation of the AGROCYMO project on the One Channel TV station from the Vice President of Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH), Dr Evangelos Bekiaris, on Saturday July 6 2024.

The AGROCYMO project was voted by the public and emerged as one of the four winners in the “ENVIRONMENT” pillar of the Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the TEHAN Group “We Donate €1,000,000 and You Decide How to Share It”.

The AGROCYMO project aims to implement the first mobile green unit for the decentralized washing of empty plant protection product containers and the sustainable management of the washing effluents.

The project is implemented as a collaboration of:

-The Laboratory of Natural Resources and Renewable Energy (NRRE) of the Chemical Process & Energy Resources Institute (CPERI) of CERTH, with Dr. Konstantinos Plakas as the scientific lead

-The Institute of Soil and Water Resources of the Hellenic Agricultural Organization “DEMETER”.
