Participation of NRRE/CPERI/CERTH in the 17th International Conference on Environmental Science and Technology (CEST2021), Athens, Greece

Members of the PHOTOX project from NRRE/CPERI/CERTH were successfully participated in the 17th International Conference on Environmental Science and Technology (CEST2021), 1-4/9/2021, Athens, Greece. Ms. Petsi Panagiota presented a study entitled “Degradation of refractory compounds in industrial wastewaters by advanced technologies based on electrochemical and photochemical oxidation” with co-authors V.C Sarasidis, K.V. Plakas and A.J. Karabelas. In addition Mr. Sarasidis Vasilis presented a study entitled “Ηexavalent chromium reduction in a photocatalytic membrane reactor in the presence of organic acids” with co-authors E. Kyriakou, K.V. Plakas and A.J. Karabelas.

It is also worth mentioning that the scientific responsible of the PHOTOX project, Dr. Konstantinos Plakas was a member of conference scientific committee.
