Participation of NRRE/CPERI/CERTH at the 12th Panhellenic Chemical Engineering Scientific Conference
The project entitled “MEMBRANE SCALING DURING DESALINATION – THE EFFECT OF DISSOLVED ORGANIC SUBSTANCES” of A. Karanasiou, S. Mitrouli, D. Sioutopoulou and A. Karabelas, from the NRRE/CPERI/CERTH, orally presented at the 12th Panhellenic Scientific Congress in Chemical Engineering (12th PSCCE) in order to present the results of the research carried out in the ANATHREPSI project framework.
At the same conference, that took place at “Evgenides Foundation” in Athens from 29 to 31 May 2019, members of NRRE/CPERI/CERTH successfully presented the experimental results of the research carried out in the PHOTOX project framework. Ms Petsi Panagiota orally presented the work entitled “REDUCTION OF NITRATES IN A PHOTOCATALYTIC MEMBRANE REACTOR IN THE PRESENCE OF ORGANIC ACIDS” with co-authors V.C Sarasidis, K.V. Plakas and A.J. Karabelas, and Dr. Plakas Konstantinos a poster entitled “ENHANCED PHOTO-CATALYTIC PERFORMANCE OF ACTIVATED CARBON FIBERS FOR WATER TREATMENT” with co-authors A. Taxintari and A.J. Karabelas.
The 12th PSCCE, which is held every two years, was attended by more than 1000 people and is the most important Chemical Engineering event in our country.
