Panagiota graduated with a Diploma in Chemical Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2012. Before her master studies, she had been working for almost a year as research assistant for the lab, Natural Resources and Renewable Energy (NRRE), in a project related with Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs) and specifically with e-Fenton. In 2016 she received her MSc degree in the Environmental Engineering with specialization in Urban Water Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). Afterwards, she worked as research scientist for the development of Phenylketonuria’s treatment in a biotech company, MipSalus in Denmark. From 2018 until now she works for NRRE lab and she deals with projects regarding AOPs (photocatalysis, anodic oxidation and electro generation of H2O2). Simultaneously, in April of 2019 she started her PhD in the department of Environmental Engineering at the University of Western Macedonia under the supervision of Associate Professor Zacharias Frontistis. Her research activities resulted to 1 peer-reviewed scientific paper and papers that have appeared in conference proceedings.
