Characterization of water and waste samples for membrane treatment (TEMAK) / Industrial funding, TEMAK AETE, Greece

For the optimal design of water treatment plants and various sewage treatment plants with membrane technology (UF, RO) to produce water of desirable properties (potable water, boiler water, process water, irrigation), both physicochemical characterization of the waste water to be treated required as well as laboratory tests to assess the tendency of these fluids to pollute the membranes. Based on these data, the unit design is made and the membrane cleaning program is defined.
