CERTH among the winners of TEXAN S.A innovative competition

The Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH), through the Laboratory of Natural Resources and Renewable Energies (NRRE) of Chemical Processes and Energy Resources Institute (CPERI) and in collaboration with the Soil & Water Resources Institute, of the Hellenic Agricultural Organization «DEMETER» was proclaimed BIG WINNER in the unique and innovative integrated Corporate Social Responsibility Program of TEXAN Envipco Group of companies “We Donate €1,000,000 and You Decide How to Allocate It”.

The great initiative of the Corporate Social Responsibility of TEXAN attracted a very large number of participations, since hundreds of Organizations, Stakeholders and Entities of Private and Public Law took part with proposals for actions in four pillars (for the environment, education, health and the local community)! For the 1st time in Greece, citizens voted and chose the proposals to be financed.

The research proposal “Green MObile cleaning unit of AGROchemical plastic packaging waste for the protection of the environment and the promotion of safe CircularitY in rural areas – AGROCYMO”, was PRIZED in the environment pillar of the competition, following a public vote.
